The Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1952,  is one of the areas oldest and most respected business and community organizations.

The Chamber’s many active committees are working to improve the region's quality of life by seeking new ways to assist its business membership in planning for the future. The area's economic success is directly related to the work being done by the Chamber.

Most importantly, the Chamber consists of people who realize that the organization can help them accomplish collectively what they cannot individually. Managed by an elected Board of Directors, Executive Committee and a professional staff, the Chamber is dedicated to helping businesses succeed.

Congratulations to Kim Adams, Finance Director and CFO with the City of Largo for winning "Economist of the Year" at the recent Focus on 2009 event. Mr. Adams' predictions in 2007 of the 2008 economy were right on!

Largo, on Florida's Sun Coast,  is the third largest city in Pinellas County.

Known as the "City of Progress", it is a place where we respect and honor our past while continually looking toward the future. It is a city of innovative solutions and a customer-driven philosophy that places the highest priority on the needs of our residents and businesses.

The City spans some 18 square miles and has enjoyed rapid growth, extending west to the Gulf of Mexico waterfront, and east to Tampa Bay.  Largo officially was incorporated in 1904 and was given its status as a city in 1974. It has a population of approximately 76,000.
